August 27, 2019

For the past 36 years, it has been my passion and my pleasure to serve over 12,000 Central Indiana children and their families with specialized therapeutic services. To have been allowed to share your journeys has truly been a privilege and an honor. My years as an undergraduate, graduate and post-graduate student simply cannot and do not compare with what all of you have taught me about the struggles, failures and successes in life, about surviving and thriving. My life has been tremendously enhanced by the experiences we have shared.

However, the time has now come for me to retire from my practice and to devote my time to Family, Rotary and Interact, volunteer services, my hobbies and some well-earned relaxation. My retirement will be official at the close of my high school girls group on November 20, 2019.

I have made arrangements with my colleagues, Heather Eberth-Teike and Eileen Call, to continue services with my clients, if you choose to do so. Both Heather and Eileen are located here in Strides and are experienced and specialized therapists. I very highly recommend them both. Their contact information is available in my office. Your confidential files will be available for you or can be transferred directly to Heather or Eileen if you continue services with either of them.

Once again, I thank you all for sharing your lives with me. My years with you have indeed made my life very, very special. Blessings to you all.

With Many Memories,

Diane A. Burks
